I have done many things in my lifetime, I've been a hairdresser, radio announcer, sculpter, porcelain artist, retail manager, but I have had a love affair with photography most of my life. And I believe that "photographer" has been the most rewarding. In the late 1960s, my Uncle was very into photography, he even developed his own film. I spent alot of time with him, and got very interested in photography as a child. He gave me my first point and shoot film Kodak camera, when I was 7 years old. I have been taking photographs ever since. I have had many cameras over all these years, but now I use a Nikon Digital SLR and lenses.
My area of expertise, nature, wild life, flowers, Pets, still life and landscapes. I like to capture the moment.
I also like to photograph people when I see someone interesting.
Living in Michigan gives me the opportunity to photograph all seasons, summer and fall being a favorite of mine.
I have studied with with well known Photographer Jim Zuckerman.He has taught me everything I know. I also have studied with Kerry Drager, Tony Sweet and Brenda Tharp.
